Presenter Biography
Kenneth M. Piken, Esq. has been practicing law for over 25 years. He formerly served as general council of the NYSSA for 20 years. He was instrumental in drafting and lobbying the New York lien law and obtaining the favorable sales tax ruling.

Piken & Associates encompasses all aspects of law with a concentration in self storage matters, including acquisition and litigation and handled virtually every appellate case in New York, United State Circuit Court for the second Judicial Circuit.

Piken has lectured throughout the United States and has been published in every trade publication as well as the Wall Street Journal. He has also been interviewed on national television and various cable stations.

Piken lives on Long Island and is the father of two teenage children.
